Signal is a small publication. This is a small policy.
This document explains what information Signal collects, how it is used, and what rights you have over it. It is written to be read, not scanned. If anything here is unclear, the contact block at the bottom of the page is a real inbox.
Signal is a monthly editorial publication published by Luminary Ventures Corp, a Florida corporation based in Osceola County, Florida, United States. Signal is edited and authored by Raleah Davis. For the purpose of this policy, references to "Signal," "we," "us," or "our" refer to Luminary Ventures Corp and its publication, Signal.
When you subscribe to Signal, we collect only what is necessary to deliver the publication to you:
- Your email address
- Your first name (if you provide it)
- The date you subscribed
- Basic engagement information from our email service — whether you opened an issue, whether you clicked a link, whether the email bounced
We do not collect your location, your browsing history, or any other identifying information beyond what you voluntarily provide. Signal does not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, or other third-party tracking pixels on its pages.
Your email address is used for one thing: to send you Signal.
You will receive the current issue when you subscribe, and one new issue each month on the first Tuesday. Occasionally — no more than once per year — you may receive a note about a significant Signal-related development (a book, a print edition, an event). You will not receive marketing emails, cross-promotions, drip sequences, or any communication unrelated to the publication.
We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties. Ever.
Signal is delivered using two services that necessarily receive your information in order to send the publication:
- GoHighLevel — our subscriber management platform. GoHighLevel stores your email address and manages your subscription. Their privacy practices are governed by GoHighLevel's privacy policy.
- Mailgun — the email delivery service that transmits Signal to your inbox. Mailgun's practices are governed by Mailgun's privacy policy.
These are standard, industry-recognized providers used by tens of thousands of publications. We share only what is necessary to deliver Signal.
You have complete control over your relationship with Signal.
To unsubscribe: Every email includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Clicking it removes you immediately. You will not receive any further communication.
To request your data: Write to [email protected] and we will provide a copy of the information Signal holds about you.
To request deletion: Write to the same address and we will remove your information from Signal's records within a reasonable time — typically within seven days.
If you reside in California, the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with specific privacy protections (such as the CCPA, GDPR, or UK GDPR), you may have additional rights under local law. Signal honors those rights regardless of where you live. Write to the same email address and we will comply.
Signal's website uses minimal cookies. Essential cookies are used only when you interact with the subscribe form, and these are handled by our subscriber management platform. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.
Signal takes reasonable steps to protect your information, but no system is perfectly secure. Your data is stored by the third-party services described above, which use industry-standard encryption and security practices. In the unlikely event of a data breach that affects your information, we will notify you promptly.
If this policy changes in a material way, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, when appropriate, notify subscribers by email. Continued subscription after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
